When Royal Worcester came to be, King George II was King of Great Britain and Ireland. And now fate has come full circle; it’s time for them to welcome another George in to the world.

Best known for its history, provenance and characteristically (and very luxurious) English collections of porcelain, Royal Worcester are also known for one other thing in particular: commemorating landmark events within the British monarchy.

Born to Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George of Cambridge was the royal baby we were all waiting for, and is now third in line to the royal throne. And Royal Worcester are set to celebrate his birth in a style most opulent, with their collection of Royal Birth Commemoratives.

Each piece of fine bone china from this collection is painted and decorated with utmost skill by hand in England, in true Royal Worcester style. Twenty-two carat gold and platinum trim adorn the elegant Royal Birth Loving Mug, accentuated with symbols of the British Isles upon a matt cream backdrop. Around the inner rim of the cup, golden script reads H.R.H Prince George of Cambridge, 22nd July 2013.
